Air Niugini orders five further Airbus A220s
Air Niugini is continuing to upgrade its fleet with orders for five new Airbus A220s adding to the airlines existing order of six A220s. The first jet will be delivered later this year.

Qantas will soon operate flights between Adelaide and Auckland
Qantas has announced plans to offer a new non-stop service between Auckland and Adelaide. The airline will fly the route four times per week using a Boeing 737-800, commencing October 31, 2025.
Origin Air to pull out of Wellington to Taupo route after just three months
Originair has cancelled its Taupō to Wellington service, leaving the central North Island city without any direct flights to the capital. The Nelson-based airline only recently started flying the route in February after Sounds Air had to axe the service do to financial pressure.
Qantas to restart Perth to Auckland flights
From later this year, Qantas will begin flying between Perth and Auckland, in direct competition with Air New Zealand. Qantas has also added new flights from Perth to Johannesburg, South Africa.
